Independent testing by the Queensland University of Technology's Photometric Laboratory has confirmed that Solatube solid shaft tubular skylights easily outperformed a competitor's comparative flexible shaft alternative, with up to 400% better light reflectance. This means that the skylight will deliver on average, greater than 4 times the level of light into the room when compared to a flexible shaft skylight system.
